There are friction plates on the clutch pressure plate, just like the brake pads on the wheels, which are made of wear-resistant asbestos and copper wire. The friction plates on the pressure plate also have the minimum allowable thickness. After a long driving distance, the friction plates on the pressure plate also need to be replaced. Previously, replacement of friction plates could be done by purchasing spare parts and replacing them by oneself. Instead of replacing the friction plates themselves, one could simply replace the clutch pressure plate by buying the pressure plate sub assembly that has already been installed with the friction plates. In order to reduce the loss of clutch plates, there is a correct method to use the clutch pedal. Just don't half step on the clutch pedal. In this way, the clutch plate is in a semi clutch state, which means that the frisbee and pressure plate are in a frictional state. If the clutch pedal is fully pressed, the flywheel and clutch pressure plate are completely cut open, and there is no friction between the two. If the clutch pedal is fully lifted, the flywheel and clutch pressure plate are fully engaged, and although there is friction, there is still basically no friction. So the clutch pedal cannot be pressed halfway.
